A Caterpillar C3.8 diesel engine powers a hydrostatic transmission with two-speed travel. A hydraulic quick coupler simplifies changes between compatible attachments, and auxiliary hydraulics plus an auxiliary electrical outlet provide connections for powered equipment. The bucket's bolt-on cutting edge allows that wear component to be replaced separately.

The enclosed cab includes air conditioning and heat for operator comfort through changing temperatures. Hand-operated bucket controls and a pattern changer allow the operator to select the control arrangement. A backup camera provides a rearward view, while the electronic monitoring panel keeps machine information available at the operator station.
